I LOVE WHEN AN ARTIST DOESN'T FOLLOW WHAT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY SAYS YOU SHOULD DO TO GET A RECORD DEAL OR TO BE FAMOUS. MANY ARTIST WHO DO THAT HIDE WHO THEY REALLY ARE AND COLEY B IS NOT ONE OF THOSE ARTIST. SHE IS A SINGER /RAPPER WHO IS DOING IT HER WAY, BUT WHY SHOULD SHE BE CONFORMED INTO SOMETHING THAT IS NOT HER SO INSTEAD OF CALLING HER A SINGER/RAPPER CALL HER AN ENTERTAINER.

BIG FOLKS Hip Hop / RNB / soul WEST PALM BEACH, FL

I’m a producer, songwriter, engineer that is truly in love with music and hip hop .i’m a former owner of a mobile dj service called the d.c. conection. kalamazoo michigan was my stomping grounds.we had about 60% of the whole campus under contract with us to do there cross over balls step shows etc. from there i moved to ohio and emerged as a dominant force in ohio’s underground hip hop scene.i was a member of all out and dropped the born in the ghetto (remix) nominated for the ohio underground music awards.from there i continued as a solo artist and did a lot of shows with lil scrappy,d12,mike jones & paul wall jus to mention a few.since then i’ve started my own label called complex thinkers inc. i soon met shark vishus and found we sounded really grimy together so his label chunk block ent. and mine converged into the unstoppable force called the conglomerate.since then we have been burning up the underground from ohio to florida,we have recently got nominated for best rap group in the palm beach music awards. me and my bro are here to take no prisoners and leave nothing left to be giving at this music so holla at us if you are looking for some cats that get it done.

Dvate Notorious Sauce (via Arty Graffarti)

Dvate Notorious Sauce Just a reminder about Dvate’s show at Rancho Notorious tomorrow night, not one to be missed. Here’s a small look of what to expect from the show. A perfectly harmless parking garage door, in Collingwood, attacked by a killer tomato, this thing is just wild! Nice to see Dvate do a character and letters in one, something I haven’t seen much of and the Return of The Killer Tomatoes reference is fresh! Rancho Notorious … Read More

ARTIST BIO

Li’l Gee was born in Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of East Ascension High School in Gonzales, LA and he attended college in Kansas City, MO.

Li’l Gee grew up surrounded by music as a fan of several different genres. His musical influences include, but are not limited to Stevie Wonder, Garth Brooks, Quincy Jones, Tupac Shakur, Dr Dre, Sublime and Manny Fresh. Additionally, he had strong influences within his family. Many of his relatives are noted gospel singers in Ascension Parish. As a child, Gee, along with his sister and cousin, would hang around to hear their uncle’s gospel quartet practice. Gee was also strongly influenced by his godfather, Kirk Wilson, a popular area musician, who introduced him to jazz and classic R&B, like George Benson, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Maze and his sister, Pam, who encouraged him to listen to everything and anything.

Gee became a musician himself. He plays guitar, keyboards and a variety of percussion instruments. Over the last few years, Gee has been making a name for himself as one of the best and most sought-after hip-hop producers in Southeast Louisiana. His creative mind and various influences combine to make his tracks fresh and unique and his tireless passion for the craft will guarantee him success in his endeavors.

This is a personal message for those who have helped me along the way. My brother who told me to start on this path and believed in me. Bear you were my rock and everyday I think of you.(R.I.P) To all my TRUE friends and family(Shu,Jody,Dre,D.K …etc.) thanks for all the support. Thanks for standing beside me when no one else was there.
The music may be my life but you guys make it worth living. I love you all!

A Smile a Day Keeps Worries Away (via Jason's Spina Bifida Journey)

A Smile a Day Keeps Worries Away Just a little reminder to smile at LEAST three times a day. You'll be glad you did. I know I can feel a difference in my spirit and attitude, and it's all because I put a smile on my face today. By the way, I hope you like this picture… I'm bad when it comes to smiling. I perform better behind the camera!!! ;)Read More
